A window opened to bear witness to a crime.
A window opened to let the screams from beyond escape.
A window opened to confront the injustice perpetuated against humanity.
A window opened so the eye could finally face its own history
the same history it tried to deny through countless vile schemes.
A window opened to reveal the invisible truth.
A window opened to expose what had been darkened by the apostles of evil.
A window opened for our enslaved ancestors,
so justice and dignity may at last be restored to them.
