Sweet enemy

Your enemy is never far. You think you’re protected, but he’s there like a wicked brother, a virus in your body, longing for your downfall. He exists near you only for that: like a sickness craving your death. Like nitrogen, he suffocates you with negative thoughts. Your misery is his joy. Your joy is his pain. The light you radiate blinds him. The light you send throws him deeper into the shadows may he stay there, so that when night comes, it wraps him in a cloak of suffering.
